Hvac Royal Service Inc Call (773) 816-6393

Chicago · Northwest Side · Since 1998

Heat that holds

Furnaces, boilers, and air conditioning for the two-flats, greystones, and bungalows of Belmont Cragin, Hermosa, Portage Park, and Logan Square. We answer the phone, we show up, and we tell you the truth about what your system needs.

Sunday emergencies answered around the clock. No answering service — a technician picks up.

What we do

Everything below is work we do ourselves — no subcontractors, no salespeople sent to your door. Prices are the honest starting points we quote on the phone; the final number depends on what we find when we open the panel.

Thirty years on the same blocks

Hvac Royal Service Inc started in 1998 out of a garage on the 1600 block of North Meade, doing furnace work for neighbors who couldn't get anyone to come out on a Sunday. The garage became a shop, the shop became a small crew, and the crew is still mostly the same people.

We work the Northwest Side because we live here. That means we know which blocks have steam boilers and which have forced air, which buildings have ductwork that was never sized right, and which landlords actually maintain their equipment. It also means when we say we'll be there at 2, we mean 2 — you're not a ticket number three suburbs away.

What we don't do: we don't send a commissioned salesperson to your house to tell you that you need a whole new system. If a $40 capacitor fixes it, that's what we'll tell you.

How a call goes

No mystery pricing. Here's the sequence, in order, every time.

  1. 01

    You call, a tech answers

Not a call center. We ask what the system is doing, how old it is, and whether it's gas, steam, or electric — so we bring the right parts on the first trip.

  2. 02

    Two-hour arrival window

We give you a window, not a day. If we're running behind on an emergency ahead of you, we call and tell you before you have to ask.

  3. 03

    Diagnosis, then a written price

You get the finding and the price in writing before any work starts. Nothing gets done that you haven't approved.

  4. 04

    Repair, test, and a walkthrough

We run the system through a full cycle, check temperature rise or refrigerant pressures, and show you what we did before we pack up.

“A furnace is not a mystery. It's a sequence of steps, and if you go through them in order you find the one that's broken.”

— Ray Delgado, service manager, with the company since 2004
